TESTIMONIALS

"The association is a great place for encouragement, feedback, fellowship, and friendship. I love to see the enthusiasm and pride everyone carries about their job and the families they serve. I love that the association is always looking for new ways and resources to help daycare providers get access to affordable education and training. But the best attribute our association has is the constant work dedicated to educate the world that daycare providers are professionals, and what they do has a value that tends to be overseen and undervalued."

Meyver Sugey

"I take great pride in my chosen career in licensed home day care. HDCPA has been a huge part of that career for over 32+ years. The knowledge I have gained from other providers and outside resources the association has connected me with over the years is irreplaceable. I have made lifelong friendships with many members. And with the help of our association I have seen my profession grow from what was always referred to as a babysitter to a distinguished, valued, educated and well known profession I always knew it was."

April Lindsey

"I have been a member for many years and I always enjoyed the connections I have made, the friendships and that the association gives me the opportunity to grow and learn even to this day."

Debbie Turrentine

"These women (and a couple of men) really take their children seriously. Most have beyond college education and so many trainings in early childhood or child development, I was blown away. They encouraged me to participate in these educational trainings, that lead to a “couple” of child development courses at the local community college which turned in a Child Development Associates Certificate and a little motivation to continue on.  I then went on to finish a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with honors and am now working on my Masters degree. I owe a lot to these individuals who encouraged me, who supported me and guided me through eleven years of successful education for myself and in turn, for all of the children I have cared for over the years."
