Home Day Care Providers Association
History:
The Home Day Care Providers Association was
first known as the Home Day Care Mother's Association. The first records kept date back to 1979. The association was formed to provide support and training for Family Child Care providers. The Association's goals and purposes were to support
one another, provide training opportunities and
advance the quality of child care in licensed child care homes, as well as uniting licensed providers for
greater recognition in Springfield and surrounding communities.
Today the Home Day Care Providers Association has upheld its original intent and has grown to
become a professional association that helps licensed Family Child Care providers with every aspect of their business.
